Engineered with high-purity Zirconia (ZrO₂), this filter is specifically designed to withstand extreme temperatures and aggressive molten steel environments. Its three-dimensional, open-cell foam structure acts as a deep-bed filter, effectively capturing both large and microscopic inclusions like slag, oxides, and non-metallic particles. The result is significantly improved casting quality, with enhanced mechanical properties, superior surface finish, and a drastic reduction in defects such as inclusions and pinholes.
Our ZrO₂ filters exhibit exceptional performance, with a typical compressive strength of >=2.0 MPa, a porosity of 75-85%, and the ability to withstand application temperatures up to 1700℃. This ensures outstanding thermal shock resistance and structural integrity during the pour.
It is the ideal choice for steel casting, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and other high-temperature alloys. It is particularly critical for precision castings in aerospace, automotive, and heavy machinery industries where metal purity is non-negotiable.
We offer extensive customization. Filters are available in standard square and round shapes. Dimensions can be customized starting from 30mm x 30mm (or 30mm diameter) with thickness options beginning at 10mm. Common standard thicknesses include 10mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, and 30mm. We also manufacture custom, non-standard shapes to fit unique gating designs. For reference, our standard DT-3 model square sizes range from 40x40mm to 100x100mm (22mm thick), and round sizes from 40mm to 90mm in diameter.

Filters are carefully packed in inner cartons and secured on export-grade plywood pallets for safe international transport. We ship globally via sea or air freight.
